Phase 2

Vision: Kids feel safer and have a nice place to stay. The kids can come once they have been reported from being abused is noticeable that abuse was actually taking place. (Since there is only so much room for all of the children)

Mission: Reduce the amount of children being abused. We want to help the kids who really need it and have been suffering for a while.

Objective: “Rescue” as many children being abused as possible. We want to help as many kids as possible but we are limited due to our budget, volunteers, and space in the shelter. Although, as time goes on and more people find out about the organization, it will be able to raise more money quicker and get more volunteers so the foundation can grow and we can help even more children.

Activities: We will be providing a stable living center for all children suffering from child abuse. We will have parties, field trips, and extracurricular activities to be done there.

Entrepreneurship

"Social entrepreneurship is the process of pursuing innovative solutions to social problems. More specifically, social entrepreneurs adopt a mission to create and sustain social value." (Google)

I think social entrepreneurship is a great act do to the fact it provides many more options and ways for people to go about doing things. I think that when social entrepreneurs step up and complete their goal, or minimize the issue they're working on to improve, it benefits everyone. It makes less things that are needed to worry about. (Ex: Scott Harrison and the water) I think it's a great thing but I don't know how you would pick what you would like to improve on in the world. There are so many crisis's that it would be hard to chose.
Danae Ringleman:Co-Founder of Indiegogo which is an organization that strives to make customer service better so that clients are happier .She started out as a security analyst wokring with entertainment companies.  " Danae is focused on driving total customer satisfaction and steering the company's employee culture and value initiatives."
*I could help this organization by writing to them about each place i go to and how the service there was.
Evan Shapiro: President of Participant Television and Pivot. He started out as President of the IFC TV and the Sundance Channel. "Evan is responsible for the conception, development, and production of original television programming that will follow the company’s model of commercial and socially relevant entertainment." *I could help this organization by paying closer attention to the commercials to know what they mean so I get more information from a reliable company/source.
Akaya Windwood: Rockwood Leadership Institute- which encourages leadership of everyone. She started it because she wanted her community to be a better place. *I could help this organization by also setting out to make my community a better place by talking to people about what ways that we can improve the community and leading it into a new, more powerful direction.

If I had to become a social entrepreneur, I would definetley do something that interests me so I have motivation to do it more and not get bored of it. I woulld first take a look at all the things I could fix then pick the one that interests me the most and choose that idea to make a difference in the world.
